to have two gryros, one horizontal to the weapon, one vertical.
The amount of stabalaztation it going to be relative to the weight of the
gyros and the speed in which they are spinning.
As a comparison, the Hubble telescope uses two gyros at a time (it was
launched with 6, and 3 have failed, but that is another story). If I
remember correct each of the units weigh 6 lbs and spin at like 3600 rpm
or something, and that is a several ton vehicle that has to be rock steady
to take pictures.
