Don't forget- if the PCs can do it, so can the NPCs. How'd you like
to get in a karma auction war to decide who dies? Joy.
Let's assume for the moment that the GM isn't pissed off with the
characters already, and so he figures out how much karma the NPC has BEFORE
the combat. GMs aren't as defenseless as y'all think they are.
