"edge", which was WAY too expensive to buy at any useful levels, but
could be used run after run (and I think that being able to use the
karma pool for every encounter is ASKING for trouble. After the first
20-30 karma, it starts to get gross. 3 karma for every scene? that
starts to sound like a screw).]<<<<<

Not really. Check the section on Karma Pools again. ][f you burn
points out of your Karma Pool for successes, they go away forever. So
what you're getting is 1 "point" for every 10 Karma that you can use
for a re-roll or three every scene, or 1 "point" you can burn for an
automatic success.

And believe me, with the new weapons table, you'll be *glad* to get
that refreshing Karma Pool... you'll need it ("Aaaawww, you didn't get
enough successes in your Combat Pool, wanna re-roll that, or try to
soak up 8S2 with just your 5 Body? :-).

It is a proud and lonely thing to be a Stainless Steel Rat.
