Mailing List Logs for ShadowRN

Well someone asked me to expand on my position and so I will:

First of all I do not see a need for an additional list. The shadowbabble is
working just fine where it is. Given that, why change? Personally, I see no
benefit in having a seperate list for the Shadowtalk. I certainly don't see
a need for it.

Secondly, I do not think that just because "it's a nice idea" that we should
try it. There's no need -- so why complicate things?

Thirdly, this is of course my opinion. I wouldn't have said anything else if
I hadn't been asked to. I am under the impression that we were asked to
"vote" so consider my last message and this one a big vote for 'no'. If the
added list is created then I suppose I'll have to decide whether to subscribe
to it.

Fourth, I can see a couple of problems the list could create. If you do
create the list you'd have to edit the charter of this list so that all
shadowtalk goes to the other one. Also, I can see how having two lists could
be confusing -- especially since it is sometimes hard to decide whether a
post is shadowbabble or regular-rules-type-stuff. I, for one, like to couch
my rules questions or "gm info" in shadowbabble language just because I think
it's more interesting to read.

So, to sum up I would much rather such a list does not get created. On the
other hand I think a better solution for robert is to collect all the
shadowtalk and shadowbabble posts into a "shadowbabble" digest available for
all who ask.
