Hey everyone, good morning.

I've found a site to house the ShadowBabble list, but it will be at least
the middle of next week before it comes online as the sys-admin-type who
has to do the logwork will be out of town until next Monday.

BUT, as long as we have a couple of days before I have to get anything to
him, I thought I'd ask for input on a couple of things.

----

Name:

One of the first things he asked for is the name for the list, and I'm
still not sure what would be best. So here are the ones I currently have
scribbled down.

SHADOWTK
SR-TALK
SR-CAFE (ShadowRun Cafe :)

There were a couple of others, but the few comments I have received
indicated that they should be put out of their misery.

----

Content:

My original concept was for the list to operate as a real-time BBS where
people can babble away about whatever fancies them within the confines of
the SR universe. This is a place to mold the background and society of
SR, not a place to argue rules, per se.

Does anyone else have diffeent ideas or anything to add or delete? I have
to submit a position paper and an introduction file at the same time the
list is set up, so the purpose has to be clear and most important
shouldn't conflict with the purpose of SHADOWRN.

----

In any case, comments are appreciated.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
