If refers to bioware and magic.
Now, normally, when Joe Sam gets bioware installed, it only conts against
his body index score thingy, but If Merlin Mage installs bioware, it not
only counts against his body index, but it also reduces his essence and
magic....right?
Ok, I understand WHY this would happen technically, even though I don't
agree with the outcome. I mean, bio is much more friendly than chrome and
I can't see 1 point of bio cost both one point of body index and one point
of essence, especially if it was all cultured.....
Reason for asking:
I am working on a character for a project. I was going to make him a mage
with less than one point of cyber (a datajack, a bit of memory, and
eyeballs). If I understand, this would give him a magic rating of 5. But
if I add bioware, his magic will plumet as his essence does the same thing
and I just don't buy that concept, especially if he is using cultered parts.
Am I missing something?
Please, don't flame. This is the first time I have ever wanted to play a
mage and it is all very new to me :)
