Whoa!!! I's obvious that giving Low-essence types immunity to magic
is more than a little unbalancing! Low-Essence types have enough advantages
due to cyberware already!!!

Also: As I understand it, a spell suh as powerball or hellblast
isn't actually directed at a target's aura, it is directed at a point in
space from which energy of some kind is released. Rolls to resist damage
of this kind of spell actually represent an attempt to avoid whatever
energy, fire, acid, whatever is called into existance by the spell and
NOT the spell itself!!!!! As for mana spells, you still think the same way,
(even though you may have some new equipment). The spell does not attack
your brain it attacks your *MIND* (note the distinction, think of it like
the distinction between the chips, wires, etc that make up a computer
and a program running on the computer. The mana spell attacks the *program*
part and not the hardware.

Your argument does not hold IMHO, it also does terrible things to
an already precarious *game balance* (oh, no, someone said the forbidden
word)

Just one gamer's opinion NO FLAMES!!!!!
