Yup. It can be either (for flesh) headware memory & a retinal link,
or a modern day thing called E-tak. E-tak (which is commercially
available in 1992) shows your current location, and can tell you
where certain things are located, closest route, etc. It's no great
shakes to put that into a vehicle. Considering the technology curve,
putting them in flight-capable drones shouldn't be a problem
