Just a few more thoughts in the direction of a magic-using AI:
What if an Enchanting Adept, who was also a decker, designed a computer using
orichalcum(sp?)?? This being a magically active material, and the AI being
albe to use the radiant magic in the orichalcum to cast spells. It would have
to learn spells as an ally would, with a user spending Karma to "learn" the
spell for the AI, but the magical skills could be hardwired into the AI's
CPU. Interesting thoughts, ain't they??
