Well,

I called Tom Dowd last Friday and asked him about whether or not
Sustained Spells had to have their drain resisted each turn as someone
else posted earlier. Anyway, his answer was "NO".
I am not making comments on Sam Lewis's knowledge but, IMHO, I would
trust Tom Dowd's opinion more than that of Sam Lewis. He is listed as
being one of the creators of the Shadowrun universe but I seriously
doubt he has had moch to do with the system since its origional creation.
