However, you DO lose something... (otherwise known as essence)

Not feasible. Look how hard it is to find TRUE AIs, even in the matrix!

This is gross. One of my old GMs did this. It was controlled via a
laser link, and was pretty much indestructible. The GM took *_WAY_* too
many liberties with this thing. It couldn't be stopped, =======
slowed, controlled. The only thing we were able to do to it was turn it
to goo (barely... for once the screw-crystal shaman was not quite as
powerful as the threat!), and according to the GM, even though it was
strewn over several kilometers (we were driving max speed in a panzer,
GOO'd it, kept driving for a few minutes, and then JAMMED on the brakes)
after the spell was broken (due to the previously mentioned ILLEGAL
bullet foci) it was able to repair itself, operational, and kept coming.
(note: after this, my rigger started working on a laser controller for
the robot. [by now, a few years later, he has probably finished it...
heh heh heh])

This thing IS possible, BUT highly doubtful. Only corps could afford to
do it, and so it would be VERY unlikely for a shadowrun team to just
chance upon one. Maybe on a high-profile extraction (the person is high
profile), you may see IT as a dummy. But WHY would this thing be common
ly used? Other drones/robots/other tech can do most tasks MUCH more
efficiently?

isn't there a levitation spell?

personally, put a deck in your cyberarm! (they do that in cyberpunk)

why ask why?

I got the feeling that they changed the concept after telling the guy
who drew the cover how to draw it (my god, this is DEFINITELY not writ-
ten by an english major:)

can already do that. Ouch for the essence, though.

> for all those mages)
Already exist. Expect for it to be VERY expensive!
