I in no way defend or stand by the movie "Lawnmower Man," but it _does_ have
some inspiring visual effects; the movie absolutely and completely misses
the point and usefulness of virtual reality technology, but it does give you
a good idea of what it's like.

A few others:

Mad Max movies! Especially the scenes of the barrens-- remind ya of Redmond,
chummers?

Pieces of the Terminator flicks-- dark futures.

Also, parts of "The Running Man."
