Why not?
I mean, I think that people do suppresive fire in real life with single-shot
pistols! Certainly if a bunch of people were firing pistols in my direction,
I'd keep my head down almost as much as if some loon had a minigun blazing
away. (this is one reason my rules total the bullets; autofire weaponry
is just an efficient way of getting many bullets)
