Subject: | Grounding quickenings. . . |

]A friend of mine and I have recently had some discussion about
]the possibility of Spells being able to be grounded through
]quickened spells.
]This has all been sparked by the discussion on rec.games.frp.misc
]newsgroup. I was curious about everyones comments and thoughts
]on this matter.
]I, personally, don't quite think that spells can be grounded through
]quickened spells even though the Grim II says that quickening opens
]a "channel" from the Astral plane.
]Any comments?
In any case, I don't think that MacLeod would appreciate getting zapped all the
time, do you?
Seriously, the word that our group got from on high is that, sure, spells do
ground out through quickenings. However, what T. Dowd said is that any spell
can ground down ("Sure. Why not?"), but that all are single-target regardless
of their original state, and that mana-based spells only affect the living thing
that the quickening is bonded to (and there has to be one for the mana spell to
have _any_ effect).
Dr. Doom; corrections requested if necessary.
