Quiktek,
Although I appreciate you bringing up such an interesting idea, you initial
thoughts made my mind go into overdrive. Look out! MUNCHKIN ALERT!! MUNCHKIN
ALERT!!! was my intial response.
But on a more balanced and thoughful approach, making A & B mean something
is not a bad idea, just stay away from most of the Paranormal creatures. With
the exceptions of maybe Sasquasch and Ghouls, I can't think of any races a
person would want to play that don't give them access to extreme powers that
would allow them to overshadow and mere metahuman. Heck even those two are dual
nature beings which means you'll have a ton of problems to deal with from such
a simple ability.
Think some more Quiktek, maybe something in a non-unbalancing scale will come
to you.
