Hmmm, would you care to expand? Our gaming group has recently decided
that we would allow priority 4 magic to be used for Paranormal type
animals (like shapeshifters, vampires, etc) and I would be most
interested in hearing what kind of troubles you run into. I,
personally, have thought about making a shapshifter, but havent as
of yet, and I can honestly say I am not sure what is stopping me.

Our group picked priority four to ensure that none of these beasts
could be something ungodly, like a troll shapeshifter shaman. We
want to limit the mixture of magic put into one character for the
sake of game balance. This is fine by me, but I have been
contemplating how society would look at them and react toward them.
Naturally I have heard many rumors, but I would still like to see
how someone else's campaign deals with them.
