- what about wards? What happens when a dual natured being hits one?
- how does something that sees the True World all the time act? What is it
like to read emotions clearly?
- what is it like in background count areas when one *has* to see them?
- how does one check the 'portable dowsing rod' aspect of dual natured
beings as a GM?
[bias: I don't like people poking around in the True World at the drop
of a hat.]
Re: regeneration restoring mental track damage as well:
ew. ew ew ew.
Not in games I run. Not at all if I can help it.
I think regeneration is too powerful in general anyways; I'd prefer
to see it replaced with some sort of Body success test (including the
D6 survival roll at the end; I hate these irregular things tacked on
the outskirts of Shadowrun). At the very least, I think weres should
get full powered regeneration only in their animal form.
A vague comment: note that the only example of a PC+ level were we've
seen (oddly enough, a weretiger...) didn't seem to be dual natured;
it's never referred to in the story, at least (one of the ones out of
INTO THE SHADOWS, and the character pops up in the second or third
Shadowrun novel; it must have been popular).
