I like it! They actually have some basis in other SR rules, they make sense,
and are not too outrageous. Sure, they are very resistant to magic. But:
a) They are not IMMUNE to magic. It can still have an effect.
b) They are still vulnerable to other stuff like guns, crashes, etc.
As for how I would add to or modify what was posted:
a) Give Negas a resistance to paranormal effects that are magical in nature,
such as Essence Drain, Flame Aura, that sort of thing.
b) Make spells cast out of close proximity to the nega suffer effects similar
to the effects the nega has on spells cast at things in that area. (in other
words, a normal mage will have to get away from the nega in order to have any
spells work)
c) Possibly have magic items in this area cease to function while in the area.
Give them an opposed test of the items Force or Power vs the Nega's Magic
attribute.
