Hmm, I realy don't envision an antennae having to be put into it.
I dont even think that an internal radio has one of those. And beyond
that, an internal transmitter is fairly cheap and is only .4 essence
for street ware....Don't get me wrong, I not saying you are nuts or
totally wrong, I am just trying to figure out why you would want to
run an entire network of wire throughout you body simply to serve as
an antennae. You'd be a walking disaster that would call to lightening
like worms do to birds!! :) But thats MHO! :-)

Ok, now that is something I agree with completely. It is in fact
exactly the figure I thought of.

Ok, now this is the tricky part. Considering the fact that I dont
think you really need to turn yourself into an antennae, would it
really cost that much essence? I mean those quotes are alomost as
much as a VCR in and of itself. I would definitely limit the number
of internal ports available, due to essence, to a standard 3.
(Everything seems to stop there, why not go with the flow when it
won't kill you!)

Maybe I am insane but i was thinking of something more along the
lines of Boosted reflexes as far as essence goes .... My reasons
for this are as follows:

I think you would need
-an internal transmitter [ .4 e 4.5k]
-a data management system [up to level 4 is .25 e 38k]
-an input/output system [up to level 4 is .25 e 22.5k]
if you want get fancy and pull some neat tricks like
the Minotaur was asking about (like calulations regarding
impact time, say for one those wonderful drones loaded w/ C12)
then you may need the SPU Math system, which is another
[.25 e and 23k]
-I'd say a datajack is equal to the essence of a port connector
but the cost of the connecting that to the core is what gets
tricky. I'd say up to level 4 DJ for [.25 e and 4k + 25k per
port wanted] Say we have someone going for it all minus the
SPU Math, we come to a grand total of :

.79 essence and 89.5k before surgery
1.4 essence with Math and 112.5k before surgery
And that is for a level one, subtract .29
more essence (.25 for DJ and .4 for transmitter)
and add 51.5k per each additional port wanted.

Wow, I am impressed. I just whipped this out...I hope I don't
get reammed for the logic behind this, but this seems fair to me....
any comments for those of you who know what they are suppose to be
doing??? I'd really like some feedback on this....

> the SRII rules, that puts it at an essence loss of either 2 or .1 SO, IMHO,

Hmmm, scratch SRII, we still play SRI...unless of course that is
clarification for yourself...

Well, like I just said, what do you think of the system I just whipped
out? Our groupies tend to like good defintions behind why you are
taking there essence, and 'because i said so' doesnt hit it too well.
Does this scheme seem to much or is there something I am missing?
(NOTE: it is 3:30 am and I did just get out of work, so I am not
expecting this system to be full proof.)

Anyway, those our my thoughts on the matter,
any one else care to comment on differents ways
of doing it or possibly my plan??? all comments
welcomed, please send flames to dev/null. :)
