I'd agree there-- I had no specific example in mind (from the texts) when
I mentioned a mage on a cycle, but it only stands to reason that the spell
(Personal) barrier wouldn't unseat the spellcaster, yes?

I find this 'astral shadow' idea intriguing, but I don't recall any such in
