Subject: Reach with sharp pointy things

The way reach is handled is to subtract the total reach of the
character from the target number for melee combat. The reach is not added
to the target number of the other combatant(s). This odd rule that was
mentioned may be a house rule used by the other playing group.
Having a cumulative reach above 2 is good if the character is
wounded, surounded, or has its vision impaired. Example: Manny the Troll
(+1 reach) has got a polearm (+2 reach for a total of +3 reach) and is
fighting a soon to be dead go-ganger. Manny has a moderate wound (+2 T#).
To smash in the face of the go-ganger Manny needs a target number 4-3+2=3.
Not bad for moderately wounded guy...
