In regards to Mike Kauffman's recent request for knowledge
concerning the nation of Aztlan (although I do not know of any
accessories or senarios describing that area) I can recomend the
following stories as possible sources of information reguarding
the effect of the ancient cultures (and magics) of that area
upon the ultramodern world:
1."The Thing on the Roof" (by Robert E. Howard, from the
fantasy/horror anthology "CTHULHU The Mythos and Kindred Horrors"
edited by David drake) This gives some description of the possible
discoveries and dangers inside the old (and still mostly undiscovered)
Mayan temples in the Yucatan.
2."Burning Water" (by Mercedes Lackey) This novel excelently
describes the dangerous effects posed by an ancient Aztec cult which has
been revived in the present.
I hope that this information proves useful.
