Nah, I follow the normal pattern of damage increases...
Level Boxes
L 1
M 1+2=3
S 3+3=6
D 6+4 Therefore...
D+ (E) 10+5
D++ (F) 15+6!
G 21+7(
etc... etc...
A single E(xtreme) hit will kill the average non-troll, a single F(atal) takes
out anyone ('cept a dragon...), G(ruesome) or H(ideous) can be counted on for
an instant kill even if it's stun damage...
As Janne pointed out, this doesn't affect PCs often, since NPCs tend to have
few skills or stats above 3 or 4 (if any). Of course, with my adjusted
autofire rules (basically an addition to the official rules which allows for
a 10-shot burst to hit with 6 bullets and 4 miss instead of all 10 hit or all
10 miss), it gets nasty... (OK, 10-shot burst from a LMG goes from 7S to 17F
base damage...)
