Well ok first of all we'll take the simple question first.

What about Deadly + mental damage.

Well chummer there isn't any, you go unconscious
and the extra success go to the physical collumn.

Nightfox punches a gang member (oh ow the pain)
Nightfox gets a lucky 5 successes (not bad for a zilch
unarmed skill, what can I say, he does magic)
the gang guy gets 4 succeses on the test and only takes a mod wound.

CRUSH backhands a gang member (poor guy, he probably won't live)
and gets say like about 14 successes. (oh his poor head)
(CRUSH was mad and rerolled the failures, still didn't do great)
the member gets really lucky and gets 1 success to resist
total of 13 successes for CRUSH
now 2 = mod 4 = serious 6 = deadly
he's now into physical
8 =light 10 = mod 12= serious one extra success.

so basically the gang member is unconscious with a CRUSH'ed
face, whip lash, possible broken neck and is slammed into the
brick wall five feet away.
