Okay.... I KNEW that the info on Physads & Magic Pool was in there. Thanks to
Crossfire for pointing out where. I can't believe it was the paragraph after
where I stopped reading.

Black Book, p.125
"Astral Perception
Cost:2
The adept has the ability to see into the astral plane via ASTRAL
PERCEPTION (p. 145), but cannot use astral projection. This enables the adept
to use the Sorcery Skillin ASTA


to use the Sorcery Skill in ASTRAL COMBAT (p. 147), but the character cannot
cast spells nor does he have a Magic Pool."

Unfortunately, that means that Physads cannot get Shielding, nor defense.
Does anyone here think that it should be a buy-able power? These days you can
get "Mystical Armor" (altogether now.... oooooooooohhhhhh....) and "Missle
Parry" (yes, you can now REALLY have a javelin catcher!). I would personally
prefer to have some sort of magic resistance, a la Spell Defense. Any comments?
(other than Munchkin *grin*)
