The way I have handled that, and our group does, is follow the
damage flow chart. After Deadly mental, go to light physical.
So, D++++(assuming 8 extra successes) would be D(Mental)+D(Physical).
So, you can kill someone with gel or stun rounds. You can beat
someone to death with a club.
Oh, and sleep spells don't work that way, they do cap at D Mental.
At least, that's how we handle it.
