Ok, here's a quick thought.

Would a person with thermographic eyes be able to get a picture of what was
happening through a blindfold, or with their eyes shut ?

I realise what we are talking about here is wether the i/r light would be
filtered out by blindfold/eyelids, but unfortunately I've no info on what
frequencies different materials filter out.
