David Lipscomb brought up the subject of physical adepts damaging vehicles
and barriers and such. I suppose they could, but what caught me about the
post was the way physads "cut" through armor. I don't believe a physad actually
punches through the armor, the same way a normal bullet doesn't neccessarily
penetrate but can still cause damage by bruising the target. Physads just know
where to focus their attack, and you can even assume that KH stikes are to
vulnerable, vital areas.
Another thing about armor (brought up by Quiktek's bullets): Does
anyonedifferentiate between soft balistic armor (like armor clothing) and hard
armor?
I'm just wondering because ballistic armor, being a weave, would be succeptible
to impaling attacks like flechettes, though hard armor (like Full Heavy, which
resembles stormtrooper armor is is composed of rigid composite plates) wouldn't
be vulnerable in the same way. I just don't see tiny little flechettes reacting
the same way against both types, which is what effectively happens since the
same mods are applied.
