Yeah, White Phosphorous is very damaging to people. According to an MP friend
of my three years ago, the Army has regulations stipulating that it not be used
against personnel. This would explain why an artillery officer, wakened in the
middle of the night in *Team Yankee* to drop shells on an infantry platoon,
decided to take out his anger by lobbing WP on them.
(That is, it explains why it was a sramatic moment and developed his character
to an extent; it ain't no justification for the act).
