I know this is a little ways away from Seattle, 2054, but...

I have personally seen the A-10 fire the chain gun on an armored target.
And as Doctor Doom has said, Tank turned to confetti. FAST. The gun only
fired for 1 to 1.5 _seconds_ and the vehicle was literally shredded.

I sure was glad that the A-10s were on my side when I was still riding
big boys.
