the comment that spirits are asked for their help by shamans:
I was wondering if a reasonable set of rules could be worked out to show
the fact that spirits are asked for help. Perhaps the spirit will perform
one service automatically (assuming the shaman succeeded on the conjuring
test), but for every service after the first, the shaman must make a
Charisma test, target number equal to the force of the spirit + number of
services already performed (i.e. 2nd requested service target number=F+1,
3rd requested service = F+2, etc...).
I like Ed's idea about the target number of the test being related
to the difficulty/danger level of the requested action, but I think that
would lead to such detailed and arguable hair-splitting that it might not
be worth it.
