Research Proposal, I usually have questions strike me at the worst
times and I consequently forget them. So I decided to bounce this
one now, rather than forget it...
Current rules allow mundanes to employ the skill Conjuring.
As per the rules, they can use it to resist Spirit powers instead of
the usual attribute and/or they can use it to summon Free Spirits,
though I think the books are hinting that this is incredible
dangerous and stupid...
Now for the question: Can ya folks think of any equivalents
for Sorcery? So far the one that has struck me as *potentially*
being useful is in the construction of Wards. Before you Carp happy
hackers start thwapping < :) > hear me out. In the above reference
to conjuration, I believe they reference the use for resistance as
being equivalent to knowing the proper exorcism rights, etc (magical
mumbo-jumbo type words that elude me). So what I am pondering is if
the same could be said for the building of wards....
Well that's about it until after finals. Then I have time to
work on my newest pet project.... Interrogation Devices that make a
Mind Probe look like Bubble Bath....
