woah...hold on a minute...if you want to limit the mages power by all
means do so...you is the gm, but
(yah, i always throw those in)...but if you do, be consistant. make
sure that all other mages cant pop astral and start shooting mana
spells at your pc's...same with spirits...make them manifest to make
any and ALL attacks.
well, now i am going to tell you all what i end up doing in the games
i run. If a mage can figure out what to do...let him...just remember,
the nasties will also learn what the pc's do and what they DON'T.
if a were beast is gonna attack for gods sakes, man give him masking
why not...if the players want to play the rules "i can do anything
because i am a munchkin" play it right back with the npc's....
yah. my games sometimes get on the destructive side, but, why not?
the only thing that matters is that you keep the players attention and
keep them all in the game. and most of all...to have fun...
if the pc's are restless to kill something send them to another city
and level the place...remember, though, when they want to get serious
the people whose city they destroyed will not be happy...

later,
Iron Claw
