Actually, I have absolutely NO intention of letting my players deal with Blood
Magic, the Great Ghost Dance, or the Wild Hunt and similar goodies(like the
Mana Storms described for Australia). I am actually planning on using these
things as means of expanding my group's horizons some. But you are absolutely
correct in that this would make players WAY too powerful. But you have to
agree that everything that FASA seems to put out, in addition to simple logic
and a somewhat sick mind, points toward the use of Blood Magic by Aztlan and
Aztechnology. Sick, but seeminly true. So it is also logical to assume that
runners going into Aztechnology compounds like the Seattle Pyramid stand a
pretty decent chance of running into a blood mage or two, dressed like Aztec
priests/priestesses and capable of performing ungodly magical feats due to their
sick kind of magical practice. What I want to know is just what kind of feats
those folks can do, not to give it to my players, but so I can either kill off
my players with it or so they can defend themselves against it.
