]P.S. how many of you have GM who rule that Ivisability does cover the
]IR range and keeps you from using this as an easy way to see invis. Also
]how many have GM's who say that you can not recognize people with
]electronic mag at longer ranges.
Not me, and me, respectively.
However, I have a bunch of ingenious mages who percieve, and thus detect the
invis spell itself, and the aura of the caster/target. Then, with mere +2s
as opposed to the nasty mods of invis, they take his head off.
Re: eyes; Our group recently had a huge discussion on the effects of optical
and electronic mags, cyber- or scope-based, and their effects (or non-effects)
on smartlinks. I will not repeat here what was said, as it was entirely too
long, but we finally settled on the difference in the mechanism of the
electronic vs. mechanical magnification.
