We have used one of the shapeshifters powers to preclude the use of
cyber...regeneration. Why would the body of a shapeshifter not just
expel the invading piece of chrome? I also use this ruling for Vampires
and other things with regeneration... but I guess it could be allowed at
a loss of the regeneration ability..hmmm....
This brings to mind another question that I wanted to post: if
anyone else allows certain critter characters (vampires and
shapeshifters), how do you deal with the regeneration? The confusing
part of the question is spell drain for the magically active. It
shouldn't be recovered instantly by regeneration, or should it? My
Physical Adept Vampire Biker has no problems with it, but our group also
sports a tiger shaman "were-tiger" and the confusion over the source of
the wound is great. And hearkening back to the point of a
shapeshifter's ess. being 8, think of how easy a decrease attribute
spell would be against one.. he he he thats decrease Willpower -3, with
a target number of 2 and F/2+1 S drain, I think we can take on those
shapeshifters now.
