]think it's gross.) Does that mean that, in turn, a shapeshifter can get
]cyber? I mean... magic is magic. And unlike DnD, it's defined. It
]operates on principles that do not change.
C'mon. Be the thousandth point of light. Just say no. . .
]But, if it DOES affect the cyber... then, by God, a shapeshifter should
]be able to integrate cyber into his being as well. I mean, after all, the
]shift is second (arguably first) nature to him. It's more natural then
]the spell is, and more specific. (He only changes into one other form.
]He knows what that form will be, every time.) It should be easier for him
]to control said change, or at least predict it. Especially if the guy's a
]full-blown mage as well. (Eww...)
Well, you're conveniently ignoring the aforestated problem with regeneration.
We dealt with that when discussing vampires. Gratuitous "can I change this ork
into an ork, and roll ungodly successes so he's an even bigger ork?"
shapechanges will result, in my campaign, in a "Thou Shalt Not Shapechange
Cyberware" statement from the mount. But, even so, I really can't see a dual
natured creature yanking any part out, except in times of direst, and the
concept I'm trying for here is: "gosh, well, golly, but this is incredibly
dire" need.
]And I'm not going to say that I didn't mean to spark an arguement because
]well, truth be told, I'm bored. All my exams are done.
