Cybernetic Optic Systems

Type Essence Cost Price
Ultraviolet Vision .10 2,000 NuYen
Infrared Vision .10 2,000 NuYen
Extended Vision .15 3,500 NuYen
Spectrographic Vision .30 6,000 NuYen

These are special purpose optics systems.

The infrared vision package extends to recipient's vision
into the near infrared of the electromagnetic spectrum. This is
a useful mod for seeing such items as infrared security beams.
The ultraviolet vision package extends the recipient's
vision to be able to see into the near ultraviolet part of the
electromagnetic spectrum.
Extended vision covers both the near infrared and the near
ultraviolet, while Spectrographic vision expands the region of
visible sight all the way from the near Ultraviolet to the far
infrared (Thermographics)
The use of these odd modifications becomes expecially
apparent due to the fact that many of the users use special
infrared or ultraviolet inks and dyes that are invisible in the
normal spectrum. The Ultraviolet mod is of special importance,
as ultraviolet light is less restricted by fod or smoke (double
effective visual ranges) and there are rumors that the UCAS
government have begun working on an ultraviolet laser.

Essence Cost Price
Full Range Cybereye .25 12,000 NuYen

* The Full Range Cybereye consists of Spectrographic
Vision with Low Light Mods and Flare Compensation in a Cybereye
Any additional mods will result in further essence loss.

Apparently they have also dinked around with Bioware eye
enhancements. They have them available, but even they say that
the cyberware versions are by far preferable for overall quality.

There is only so much that can be done to a natural eye when
dealing with limitations in the fact that the brain must be able
to interpret the signal and that in the natural eye there is a
balance... if you are going to increase the number of rods in the
eye, there are going to be less cones... and people without
thermographics simply cannot assimilate that data without a
cyberware interface.

When I finish the decryption of that file I will try to post it.
