BIOEYES

Humans: Low Light Bioeyes. 12,500 NuYen .2 body

In this pice of bioware, two sets of eyes are actually grown,
and through microsurgery, some of the cones on the retina are replaced
with rods. This imbues the subject with the equivalent to cybernetic
low light vision, but at a loss of approximately 20% of their color
vision. i.e. all colors appear less bright/more grey
*This mod is not available to Trolls or Dwarves, as it also
would detract from their thermographics, which would not be worth it.
*Retinal Cybernetic enhancements are not accepted by this eye
due to existing stress.

All: Aquatic Bioeyes 11,000 NuYen .2 body

These bioeyes are designed to distort their shape when
underwater such that vision is properly attuned for the new
medium. Slight modification is also done to the basic structure
to enhance this vision. These eyes will support cybernetics.
*Aquatic/Low-light bioeyes are a .3 body cost and 17,000
NuYen

All: Flare Compensastors 12,000 NuYen .1 body

This is a modification to the retina to respond quicker to
lish flashes, and includes a nictating inner membrane that snaps
shut in the presence of bright light. For the first action the
character has, he is affected as unprotected individuals, but
starting in the next action, is protected similiarly to the
cybernetic flash compensators. These eyes will support
cybernetics.
*Add 6,000 Nuyen if added to an existing bioeye.

All: Extended Vision 12,000 NuYen .1 body

This modification to the cone structure in the eyes extends
the vision partly into the near infrared and partly into the near
ultaviolet <<need to look up wavelengths yet>>. The viewers color
spectrum is altered however due to the compression of the normal
spectrum to fit the new wavelength in.
This means that the near infrared now appears as red, so red
now appears slightly in the orange, and ultraviolet now appears in
violet range, so violet is shifted towards blue, and blue slightly
towards green. This effect is most noticeable (obviously) for this
reason around the edges of the visible spectrum.
*These optics are not compatible with the Low-light bioeye.
*Trolls and Dwarves can still recieve this modification,
but at 15,000 Nuyen and .1 body, giving them the
equivalent of Spectrographic vision. This is due
to the delicacy in working on their thermographic
capable cones.

All: Vision Magnification 12,000 NuYen .2 body

This modification allows the eye and lens to change shape in
order to enhance perception of items in the distance. This is the
equivalent to optical magnification 1.
*Not compatible with any cybernetic eye modifications.
*add 10,000 NuYen if being added to an existing bioeye.
body cost only .1 effectively if being added to an aquatic
bioeye.
