Subject: riggers/drivers disconnecting the autopilot (?)

can a rigger or person-othherwise-driving-a-vehicle disconnect the autopilot
to eliminate the +1/ handling penalty that the installation causes?
(reference RBB p 114, 1st column, under rating 1 autopilot).

the question arose when our bodyguard (no datajack/vcr, but car 6) wanted
to disconnect the damn thing becuase "it kept telling her that she was
driving recklessly."
