Yes, thats right, "WHAM !" is the sound my fist made when I heard that they wer
e by passing the L.A. supplement. Really frustrated. L.A. is the second coolest
place in the shadowrun world - for shadowrunners. Still, 'tsaright because that
just allows me to run L.A. the way I always have - Just like I'm going to do wi
th the Tir Tairngire. Sure 'll use the Tir supplement for ideas, but I'm too
far into my game (and my players like my scheme) to radically change now.
Still I'm grouchy. Anyways I have a feeling the L.A. supplement was a botch -
they centered the thing around Compton/Watts etc... Thfwapp!!! Anybody that
lives here in The City Of Angels knows that those areas are the equivalent of
Pullyap Barrens, thats not where the action is. Century City (yes there really
is such a place - apprpriately named huh?) is Shadowville, or at least downtown
or even Wilshire District with megatrendy Westwood close by. In those areas you
got everything for a great supplement. Maybe its a good thing the L.A. suppleme
nt didn't come out - it would have been disappointing for those of us who live
here.
