Since I am in the Army, and I used to be on tanks (M1/M1A1), you'd think
I'd know something on the subject. The only thing I do know about it is
that the tanks *are* suppossed to be able to use just about every type of
fuel available in the world. I believe this is because of the extremly
high temperatures that the turbine operates at. Basically, if it has a
flash point, it'll burn. Everything from Zippo lighter fluid to the
purest high grade jet fuel.
I personally have burned diesel, jp-4 and jp-6 in a tank.
