Last weekend I had the honor of playing in a 2nd Edition Shadowrun game by Gm
Tom Dowd himself. I must say it was an interesting experience (even if I was
the least succesfull character and people started to call me things like
fearfull leader and blundering leader, Ahem). But I was a little shocked at
the high mortality ratings in the 2nd ed. One or two shots were enough to
finish off even the most powerfull troll. While more realistic then the "I've
got an armor, so you can't hurt me" approach from the 1st ed, this I thought
was a bit to deadly. I am affraid that pc's will die like flies and a lot of
innocent corpgoons to.

I wondered if you had the same feelings and what you did about this. I like
making the game more dangerous, but this is to much.

Your friendly fearless neighbourhood Woodsman.
