Hey, I have a player in my campaign with a Barret Light 50 Sniping
Rifle. Mix this with a reflex recorder, specialization in rifle
and you get an effective skill level of 8. He definitely has 8
combat pool, and doesn't mind wasting it if the target is worth
it; besides, who's gonna pick HIM off at distances of half a mile.

Of course, he doesn't get to use it much. It's too bulky to carry
around, but if the runners are planning a meet, it's always nice
to have a helping hand watching over you...
