Subject: [FAQ]: ShadowTalk Edited Digest Distribution Options
Date: Tue, 15 Jun 1993 22:51:28 -0500
Hi,

The purpose of this file is to outline the various distributions of the
ShadowTalk Interactive Fiction Edited Digest. This 'edited' version is
compiled by the listowner by removing the mailing headers and any
administrative postings.

There are two distributions that are mailed out in regards to this edited
digest:

1) The Log: This is the actual digest. Each digest consists of 7 days
worth of postings (with a smaller 5th mailing comprising the few remaining
days of a month). The digests are released haphazardly as the editor
completes them.

2) Notification: This mailing is simply an announcement that the digest
has been compiled and sent to one fo the two ShadowTalk FTP site. Usually
the file will appear on the FTP site within a day or two.

Disclaimer

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
