Hey People!
I've been doing temp work at a game store around here and I got a
look at the newest shadowrun freebie pamphlet, the 1993 update. Hopefully
they will be available at your favorite sore soon. Any way, there were a
couple of things of interest in it that I though y'all would like to know
about.
The pamphlet opens with a new two page Harlequin story. Just as a
side note, has anyone else noticed that the Shadowrun short stories are
far better than any of the novels? Anyway, this story seems to perhaps
intimate some stuff about the Horrors from Earthdawn. I'll leave to
everyone to draw their own conclusions.
Next are the upcoming products (yay!). We already have seen Tir
Tairngire and A Killing Glare. In the works are Tir Nan Og (october
release acording to Chessex), Sprawl Maps, and Corporate Shadowfiles (later
this summer). The Germany Sourcebook is being translated for release in
the US also. There is a picture of the cover in the pamphlet. Down the
pipe a bit we can expect The Corporate Security Handbook, The Ares 2054
Catalog, a group of short adventure called Running Short, and Harlequin's
Back, continuing the adventures of everybodys favorite joker.
Two archetypes for use with Tir Tairngire round out the book (one
of 'em is a Tir Border Guard, and I forget the other. A noble, I think).
All in all, a bargain considering it costs the low, lwo price of
nothin' at all.
