At the moment it does. If the material isn't there it means that the GM
has to write/make-up the necessary details. I'm sure a lot of GMs will
avoid doing this by taking the simple option out - use the sourcebooks
that are provided.

For city-type runners there's enough. A concept I've used within some adventures
I've run is that of an East coast sprawl - this is east of the Great Dividing range
and extends from central Queensland (Rockhampton) in the north to the southern
parts of NSW (Woollongong). Now even if this doesn't go ahead in an official
book, Sydney itself would be a great cyberpunkish type area - it's almost scummy
enough for it now. :-)
Melbourne would probably be as good to develop. There's heaps of other cities
around that could change dramatically in 60 or so years.

I actually hadn't thought of it, but now you mention it there's at least
one adventure idea I can think of straight up - Antartica will probably be a
World Park/Heritage site and therefore forbidden ground to governments and
corporations - supposedly. Start thinking of the possibilities here... Frozen
shadowrunners... :-)
