Has anybody else read about "Dead Zones" in NAGEE? For those of you who
are unaware, a Dead Zone is an area where technology doesn't work. Just
what types of technology depend on th GM, but cyberware and any firearms
more complicated that Black Powder don't work. Steam engines work, but
not gas or othe combustion engines. In fact, the author made a point
about steam engines making a comeback to travel.

Anyway, Dead Zones sound like a good way to simulate Dreamtime. If you
wanted to make it REALLY weird, you could rule that the scientific study
of magic (hermetics) is not as effective as "natural" shamanic magic.
