them as recently as the Aborigines, and also haven't had the same problems with
people leaving tribal lands. The native Ams have built their own businesses
to some extent -- look at the Navajo. They have their own economy going, and
so there's less attraction to leaVE tribal lands and hit it for the city and
a job. They're holding their culture together better as a result. Granted,
it's evolving, it's not the same as when they were hunter-gatherers living
nomadic lives on the prairie, but it's still their culture. The Aborigines
haven't had the same effects going for them. They haven't adapted, and their
nomadic lifestyle is dying out.
