Secondly: Rockers. I agree that as presented, the rules are a bit
munchkinish. As it is, a rocker on the run can simply order guards around,
as if his charisma is always "on". My advice is to use common sense. It
doesn't matter if the intruder to Mitsuhama Research Facility 12, spotted
at 3 am in the vault is Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, or Rikki Ratboy; they're
still trespassing in a restricted area and are subject to arrest by some
very confused but still-loyal guards.
The key to the rocker's power is the chance to communicate with the subject.
This happens in concerts, when fans are especially prone to giving themselves
over to another's control. This won't happen in a firefight, and even if
conversation is possible, people in a secure environment are more wary of
fast talk attempts an manipulation. And it's entirely possible that some
guards may HATE the rocker; imagine Madonna trying to use her influence
ability on Pat Robertson. . .
